Hello, my name is Mandel Gregory. My wife's name is Erica. My wife Erica, made a profession of faith when she was a little girl, but couldn't remember the details of it.  After starting this work in 2002, The Lord convicted her of her condition, and she realized she was lost. When  I  got home that day she reminded me of her struggles  with doubt. She definitely understood the Gospel by this time. She had struggled for many years. I reminded her by saying, "You know what you have to do." With tears in her eyes we knelt down together to pray at our loves eat in our living room.  She asked the Lord to save her, and the Lord gave her a peace she never had before. It was a glorious day to see her finally assured of God's salvation.

I was Twenty years old when my twin brother led me to the Lord, 40 years ago this December 28,1985. I believed the Gospel and was never the same again. Together, my wife and I  are grateful to God for saving us, and bringing us together to serve in the Gospel ministry of church Planting.
We served at New Testament Baptist Church in Maryland  where my twin started the church.  We both attended TTU in Chattanooga TN, and played basketball there. He was sent out of Crossroads Baptist Church in Bailey's Crossroads VA, under Pastor Louis Baldwin. Together He and I  and our wives were fired up for church Planting especially  with the ministry of COEBA(Conference On Evangelizing Black America). My wife and I  served at NTBC in Maryland for 7 years. Then the Lord laid on my heart Alabama.  My wife and I  moved here in 2002 to start NTBC. We've  been  here serving for 22yrs.  We met in 7 different locations.  In our 12th year the Lord gave us the opportunity  to buy this building we are currently meeting in 1400 Ware Blvd, Birmingham, Al 35235. It seats 300 people, over 500 sq. ft. We've Led many souls to the Lord on door knocking. Well over a thousand. Many of them I baptized, about 90. All are 1st generation believers,  who never attended a Fundamental, Independent, Bible Believing Baptist church before. Very different  than your Traditional Baptist churches. The challenges  are great seeing many becoming  strong New Testament Christians, but the Lord Jesus is worth it.
There's so much still to be done in this ministry of reaching souls, baptizing saints and making disciples. As an independent baptist,  that happens to be black, we can see God working through Black America to help reach Alabama and the world. I want to train more men and young children, to grow in the Lord, and start some churches. We have about 14 new young men, and a few new families that show great potential for the Lord. I desire your prayers greatly, they mean so much. Thank you sincerely, Mandel Gregory.
